Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the promises we keep. Written to be read, not just filed.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Top Ten Communication, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), which operates TheRaidOrganizer at theraidorganizer.com(the “Service”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. It applies to organizers, sellers, buyers, and anyone who visits the site or receives email from us. TheRaidOrganizer is not affiliated with Whatnot, Inc.

1. Who we are

TheRaidOrganizer is a coordination platform for Whatnot raid trains. Organizers create a dated event with time slots, sellers sign up for slots through a public link, and buyers view a live public lineup (the “Run of Show”) showing who is selling when.

The data controller responsible for your information is Top Ten Communication, LLC. You can reach us any time at hello@theraidorganizer.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run trains and keep sellers and buyers in sync. What we collect depends on how you use the Service.

Organizers (account holders)

  • Your email address, and either a password or a magic-link sign-in (your choice).
  • Your name or display name and your Whatnot handle.
  • The trains you create and their contents — show name, date, time zone, slots, rules, and branding you upload (such as a logo).

Sellers (people who sign up for a slot)

  • No account required. When you claim a slot you provide your Whatnot handle, a display name, and your email. A phone number is optional.
  • Slot details you enter — what you're selling, referral link and code, giveaway value, and any notes or featured item photos you add.

Buyers and visitors

  • You can browse public lineup pages with no account and nothing to install.
  • If you opt in to a newsletter or updates, we collect the email address you give us.

Collected automatically

  • Basic technical data our hosting and infrastructure providers log to operate and secure the site — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use this to keep the Service running, prevent abuse, and fix problems.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage organizer accounts and trains.
  • Let sellers claim slots and let organizers manage the lineup.
  • Send transactional email you'd expect — slot confirmations, a private edit link for your slot, and show reminders.
  • Show the public Run of Show so buyers know who is selling when (see Section 4 for exactly what appears).
  • Send optional newsletters or updates, if and only if you opted in.
  • Keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, debug issues, and comply with the law.

4. What appears publicly (First names & Whatnot handles)

As a matter of policy, the public Run of Show and public lineup pages display only first names and Whatnot usernames, alongside the slot details a seller chooses to share (what they're selling, their referral code, and a link to their Whatnot).

Pseudonyms are welcome. You may use a pseudonym, alias, or nickname in place of your real first name if you prefer. Nothing on a public page requires your legal or full name.

Private details you give us — your email address, phone number, and similar contact information — are not shown publicly. They are visible only to the organizer (and any co-organizers) of the train you signed up for, so they can coordinate the show, for example through a conductor-only contact sheet. Printable and shareable versions of the lineup contain no contact information.

5. We never sell or give away your information

We do not sell, rent, or give away your email address or your private information to anyone. We never trade your data to advertisers, data brokers, or list buyers. This is a core promise, not a setting you have to find and switch off.

The only parties who ever handle your information are the service providers listed in Section 7 who help us operate the Service (for example, our email and hosting providers), and they may use it only to perform those services on our behalf — never for their own marketing.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to (such as a valid subpoena or court order), to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a business transfer (like a merger or acquisition), in which case this policy will continue to govern your information.

6. Email and one-click unsubscribe

We send two kinds of email: transactional messages (like a slot confirmation or a show reminder tied to something you did), and optional newsletters or updates you chose to receive.

A one-click unsubscribe link is included at the bottom of every newsletter and email we send from theraidorganizer.com. One click removes your address — no login, no form, no “are you sure” maze. We also support your mail provider's built-in unsubscribe button (the List-Unsubscribe standard), so Gmail and Apple Mail can unsubscribe you directly.

Once you unsubscribe, your address is added to our suppression list and won't receive further mail. Note that essential account-related messages (for example, a password reset you request) may still be sent because they are required to operate the Service.

7. Service providers we rely on

We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to run the Service. They process data only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and account storage.
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
  • Resend — sending transactional and newsletter email.
  • A third-party payment processor — if and when we offer paid subscriptions, billing is handled by a dedicated payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers located in the United States or other countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information stays protected wherever it is processed.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the site — for example, to keep you signed in to your organizer account. These are required for the Service to work.

If we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are popular and how the site performs, we do so in a way designed to avoid building advertising profiles of you, and we do not use your data for third-party ad targeting.

9. How long we keep your data

We keep information for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected:

  • Organizer account and train data — while your account is active. Completed trains move to a public archive so past lineups stay viewable.
  • Seller signup details — while the relevant train is active and for a reasonable period afterward so organizers can reference and reuse them for future shows.
  • Unsubscribe records — kept indefinitely, because we need to remember not to email an address that opted out.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 11).

10. How we protect your data

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls so that contact details are visible only to the organizers who need them, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit who can access it.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correctinformation that's inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete your information.
  • Opt out of marketing email (one click, on every email — see Section 6).
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information — though, as stated in Section 5, we don't sell or give away your data in the first place.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@theraidorganizer.com. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

12. Children

The Service is intended for adults running and participating in Whatnot commerce and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a feature or a new service provider. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your information? Email hello@theraidorganizer.com. We're a small team of daily Whatnot users and we read every message.
